WHY GRAVITY SPORTS ?

Our overseas location at Winter Park, Colorado provides a fantastic environment to enhance skill development across all the facets of modern skiing. Dedicated race training arenas, excellent snowfall and quality, superb variety of terrain and a culture of excellence in competition creates a backdrop for you to develop all your skiing skills.

Winter park has a rich history of hosting World cup events, National Championships at Open and Children's levels including Fis events for Alpine Racing, Adaptive Racing, Moguls and Free Ride. Most recently Red Bull has chosen Winter Park for it's Cascade Event where they closed off an entire part of the mountain and chairlift for the

event. Such is the dedication of the mountain to host big sporting events.

Our proven approach educates you on Free skiing, Giant Slalom, Slalom and Park skiing. At all times and no matter whatever the age safety and fun is paramount to a successful experience. From a technical standpoint, Skill Development is fundamental to our approach as is Line, Tactics, Versatility, Resilience.

Education is front and centre of our Athlete centred approach. Understanding of terminology, ski tuning and mechanics of skiing are all discussed at an age appropriate level. Video analysis plays an important part of the learning environment and forms a large part of the daily athlete review.

Our relationship and partnership with the resort and the staff of the Winter Park Competition Centre is 17 years strong and is integral to our ongoing success. Join us all for another year and add a chapter of life experiences for you and your family.

My aim has always been clear. Create great educated skiers and the rest of the journey is whatever you want it to be. Racer, free-skier or coach, you never know where it might take you !

My love for the sport, the mountains and people within it combined with passion and energy will ensure a learning environment and experience that will set you up for success.

With nearly 30 years of coaching experience in Australia, Europe, Canada, New Zealand and the United States, skiing has been my life. Fortunately it has also been my families life and together with my wife Rachel and daughter Jessica we have all been experiencing the ride.

Please join us and make gravity your engine.

Testimonial

As an Athlete I spent many seasons training at Winter Park. The variety of terrain, incredible snow, race training opportunities and people made for life long memories and friendships. I was fortunate to return to Winter Park as a coach and was able to provide these same experiences and memories for budding young athletes. A truly magnificent place and camp - Ben Tyler
